Not a clue what to do, trubster, or what they could do, either, but are all those 15xxx points from just this quarter?******** Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity *******"Always be calm and polite, and have the materials to make a bomb"0

Last year my Sister in Law ordered Comos Holiday vouchers from the clubcard deals and when they did not arrive within the week she called Tesco and was told she was being investigated as she had too many points. They did discover that she had 4 accounts so was able to use the points codes 4 times each. It took a few weeks before they were finally ready to make a decision and it looked like she was going to loose all the points. She telephoned the guy who was dealing with the case and pointed out to him that Tesco should have told her before they delivered her shopping that she should not have used the codes but they had not, in fact they had sent her the points vouchers. She made it very clear that if they withheld any points or vouchers she would see them in court. Tesco decided on that occasions they would honour the deals and sent her the £1800 Cosmos vouchers she had ordered.0

Oh goodness trubster, I don't know how they can have a problem with you having too many points?! If you've ordered things and they've accepted points then its okay surely? Why would 8000 points be too many anyway?
Hope it gets sorted, let us know how you get on. DD
Edit: just read your post again and am confused - easily done I assure you! Your sig says 16000 points on 5 clubcards? Not sure what this means, do you have more than one clubcard in your name? If that's the case then I guess they will have a problem with that? I may have misunderstood...0 -

Yeah, I have 5 Clubcards and used most of the codes 4 or 5 times to get the points.
The 8000 points card is the only physical card I have, the other ones are virtual ones so I couldnt have used any other cards for the instore transaction. We’ve had to remove your signature because your opinion differs from ours. I will be making it extremely clear to tesco that I will take them to court because there isnt anywhere in the Ts and Cs that says I cant use more than 1 account. We’ve had to remove your signature because your opinion differs from ours. I have nearly 8000 on my only physical card and was getting a bit antsy about using it instore, and now I've read your story I'm worse! I hope it's a panic over nothing and they leave you in peace. Can I get a physical card for a virtual account, or not, do you know?******** Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity *******"Always be calm and polite, and have the materials to make a bomb"0

I know, I really dont understand why they are being so stupid about it...Edit: just read your post again and am confused - easily done I assure you! Your sig says 16000 points on 5 clubcards? I guess point (i) would be the most concerning in the cases mentioned above. mmmm ... might have to take a rain check on collecting points once and a while. The tesco clubcard vouchers are valid for 2 years are they not??
Maybe if you removed the vouchers from the scheme every so ofter, then exchanged them in separate transactions for deals you could get away with it?? - is this possible??TescoClubcard wrote:The Tesco Clubcard scheme is only for personal and consumer use. But that is exactly what I am doing.... " Pooling" them with other members of my household
and all my cards are registered to different names at each address... ie. my address = 3 cards in 3 different names and the other 2 are at another address in 2 different names. We’ve had to remove your signature because your opinion differs from ours. hello
sorry, that particular quote was meant to be an indication that direct rules are being broken by members of the scheme. Your 'pooling' is legal and thats clear to see.
the first quote is prob the one when should be concerned with. Point (i) I guess they could turn round and say your using the scheme to your advantage...although for all our sakes fingers crossed they dont!!
Being a points collector myself (only recently) ive accumulated over 3000 points in 3 days - im with you, i cant see that you have done anything wrong.Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts - 1420 Days To Go!LBM: £103,592.98 / Currently £78,500.08 - Down 24.22% / Mortgage: £92,800.00 / Loan: £17,284.21 / Overdraft: £450.09 / C/Card 0%(October 08): £5,601.54 / C/Card 0% (January 09): £1075.22 / Child Care: £137.80
