Posted this on codes thread, but thought it might be of use here to:

If anyone received the email or letter giving 200, 300 and 500 points off shopping over £50 (with various valid from and to dates for each coupon), the XX-SUMD code - for the 500 points - is being accepted online now, ie you don't have to wait until 13 August for it to be accepted.

This also happened with the 300 points coupon - I have received 2 shops (and points showed on invoice) before the start date of the voucher, IYSWIM.

Have today ordered a shop for next week using the 500 point code and it has been accepted and shows on confirmation email.

PS: these codes were/are targetted and it seems that if you didn't receive the letter or email, you are not able to use the codes.

    Hi all,

Was wondering if this has happened to anyone else? Placed a grocery order and used the current £8.00 off £80.00 code. Was accepted at the checkout and was there in black and white in the confirmation email.

Took delivery of the order and the code was removed by Tesco with the usual spiel stating that they were "unable to apply the discount code and to contact customer services with any queries...etc etc."

Am wondering if anyone has had a similar experience, taken it up with them, and what the outcome was?

    Thanks in advance

Am I too late? Not if its not for delivery today

Simply cancel the order, replace, add codes and checkout

That way you will not lose out any money off or points

    Hope that helps
If i cancel the whole order do I have to imput every individual item again or can I just activate that cancelled order?
    Cheers

Dont cancel first! Go to your favourite items and click on last order. It will have the one waiting to be delivered. Just add all them to your new basket, putting in codes again, checkout then go back and cancel the first one :)

Hi everyone - can you help?

I have code XX-CVHT for 1000 pts on £50 spend. Is it right that I wont be able to get free delivery too? (I have no code for that anyway!)

I wanted to use it for two separate shops to maximise the points value (2000 - call me greedy!) but can be bothered with that virtual account thingy so will I only be able to use it once then?

Didnt want to end up paying for two delivery charges just to get 2000 points?

    Any advice?

    Many thanks.

Yeah I've had this happen on my last two shops, the code was accepted online but both times was not applied to the final price.

Can anyone shed any light on this matter, as this is really annoying. either the code is accepted or not accepted but either way, you should be told when you checkout, and not when the shopping arrives.

Personally I think that paying two delivery charges (about £10) to receive 2000 points (worth £80) is a bargain. You'll have to use two seperate accounts though to do this if you are goig to use the same code.

Don't forget to fill your basket with BOGOFs where possible as you will still get all the extra points if your basket comes to £50 BEFORE the discount for half of the bogofs has been deducted.

This is the last week to collect clubcard points if you want to receive them in August.
