I hope this does not offend you and myself and other are only saying what we think. This site does encourage people to have there views.

No offence taken, I just have a low boredom threshold and could see there being oodles of posts (we've already had quite a few) all giving very predictable grumbles and posting what I paid for delivery this week compared to last etc.

This is a top board, and lots of good ideas, experiences, questions, suggestions etc. It's fantastic. To see everyone start cribbing about an extra 50p here and there or Aunt Flo down the road paying the same as Uncle Bill in the next town..... and 'I pay this' and 'I pay that'..... well, the upshot is - no offence - what difference does that make and what help is it to anyone else?! We click on delivery, can see our prices, and choose if/when we get it and if/what to pay. That's it really, isn't it?!

Like I say, no offence, sorry for any given in my post. I just don't think it is a subject we can really 'get anywhere' with and (maybe it is just me, if so humble apologies!) it isn't exactly interesting! If I'm the only one to feel this way then ok, sorry guys, I'll sit it out, wake me up when it gets back to normal!

    Cheers

 So those vouchers I will never see again??????

I remember they were both for about 36 each.

Do you think when they look on their system it does bring up all the accounts???? Or just the clubcard number???
HI I know from expierience that all accounts would be brought up i recently quired some thing gave my postcode and they found my husbands account and the girl said "oh i see you got a few accounts"

So possibly opening more than say two or three accounts might raise the likelihood of an investigation/losing it all should they decide to have a look? There must be a point where it's ok (two or three perhaps?) then again depends on how big the family is and how many live at home etc -how can they decide that? A conundrum!

  • hi I tried to phone and get points, but was told as my insurance does not come up for renewal march no good, insurance needs to be one month before due, seems daft if the offer is only for limited time, but they said too many people phoning for quotes!!!

Doh. Think you need to tell them your insurance is up in July! What they don't know they don't need to worry about! Nil points to Savinglikemad!!!

You could have a new second car for all they know and you need the quote for that one. I am off to give this a go.

    Well, did it work?

Did you quote a registration number?

How many orders do you think it is o.k to do in a week without flagging up too much attention ??

A few things to take in to account here,

Staff usually work 8hrs a day

So if you get a order delivered early morning its gonna be the day shift and if you get a delivery at 9pm then it will be the back shift or night shift staff dealing with the delivery.

From my experience I would suggest one grocery and one wine a day is fine, I would not run the risk of any more, well apart from at XMAS then you can have as many as you like as they are so busy........

I have had deliveries on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Sat and Sun all by the same driver without any problems.

If this bothers you then just note a reg number and type/details from a second hand car sales place.

You're thinking of changing your car
