Ge money/freedom finance
Just a quick question, which someone may be able to answer.
I have tried to reclaim PPI from GE Money but they have written to me informing me that it is Freedom Finance that I need to reclaim from.
In the letter they sent me though, they state that Freedom Finance provided the advice about PPI, but it was GE Money that purchased it on our behalf - we didn't even know we had insurance until they told us the 5 year policy was due to expire and we should seek alternative arrangements.
The PPI box was ticked on the Agreement, but neither myself or my partner ticked it, it is not a normal tick.
Who should I really be chasing to get my money back?

Hi there
It sounds like that Freedom were the brokers then that set this up from the start and handed you over to GE, where you would receive the paperwork via GE as well.
So as they said, if Freedom set this up for you/sold this account to you then you pursue them.
Good luck on your reclaiming.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

Freedom Finance are responsible for the sale, as the broker of the loan and PPI they should ensure the sale was ok. If you claim something was mis-sold you need to complain to the firm that sold it, GE never spoke to you, offered you advise etc etc, Freedom Finance did.0
