Below is the reply I recieved from my complaint about the queues in Poundworld. I thought my spelling and grammar was a bit dodgy:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
It has come to my intention that you werent very happy with the service you
recieved at the poundworld store in Walsall. Our ques do get very big
throughout the day and I understand that this is inconveninent for the
customers that shop with us, on the other hand we value our customers
immensely and so i will breif all my staff on this issue and ensure that
from this point onwards the ques are kept to a minimum.
Thank you for raising this issue with us so we can aim at making sure or
customers recieve the best service possible.
Please accept my appoligy and sorry for any inconvience we may have caused
you.

That's bloody awful.0

It might not be the best spelling or grammar, but it seems a genuine letter from someone who has proably little ability to solve to issues raised.
I'd rather receive a letter like that, than one with correct spelling but full of false promises and apologies with more reserves than a football team.0 -

oh dear, no spell check for them lol'We're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time0

To be honest I think complaining about queues in a poundland store is a bit over the top tbh. Just don't shop there! Or come back when it's quieter. Or just deal with it and get on with your life.0

I suppose that all depends on whether staff are standing around chatting. I think most stores operate a policy where if the queues get so long, they'll open another checkout. I know i'd likely get irritated if staff were standing around blethering while the line increased and moved extremely slow due to only 1 person manning the tills. I probably wouldnt write a letter about it but I probably wouldnt shop there again unless i had to.
That being said, we werent there. Perhaps they were short staffed. Perhaps all checkouts were open already. Theres just so much we dont know :eek:You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
I used to work not far from there....the spelling and grammar isn't that bad compared to a lot I saw from locals!Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0
