Bridesmaid dresses ?

We chose together - but it was agreed I got final say. Both had said they would wear whatever I wanted, but I wanted them to be happy & comfortable (especially as one had just had a baby) - my only stipulation was blue-ish (i.e. anything from green to purple! - ended up in sea green/teal). We bought from the 'high street' as it had to be bought 'off the peg' rather than ordered as we didn't have time. We tried several things off the internet (we live at 3 ends of the country!) and both sent pictures & opinions - but we were struggling so I travelled to shop with one of them and foudn a dress she was happy in (which I thought the other would be too) and then sent one to her to try. Was quite stressful - but both were happy on the day. I paid for their dresses as I had a say in what they were, but they chose and paid for their own accessories (we discussed this right at the start of planning).
I was BM to my two BMs when they married - one I was sole BM and just told to wear whatever I wanted (they bought me a necklace as a gift which I wore), the other we went shopping (bride & 2 BMs) and luckily found a dress we all loved (she bought our dresses and we bought accessories) - but for either I would have worn anything I was asked to as it is their day.0 -
2 of my bridesmaid dresses were very easy. i suggested a dress..they said yep great...i bought. The 3rd one might be a little trickier but i'm happy for her to have whatever she wants.
as they are all black dresses i suppose this makes it far easier.
one of them i bought from the littlewoods ebay outlet for £15!!!! and the other from very website £39.

I had this problem with my BMs. I have 3 - 2 of them loved one dress and the other loved 1. In the end, I made the decision as I was paying and went with the one the majority liked (including my mum) as I liked both. It was difficult though but at the end of the day you have to take your theme and what you want your day to look like as well as considering their comfort. Hope it goes well xFirst baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/14
