CP Plus ltd , Trethowans LLP, Hospital PCN

Can anyone tell me if they have had PCN 's from the above. I work 12 Hr plus shifts and overstayed 4 hrs in the hospital car park as unable to leave work to move car. Was parked in staff only bay yellow box, twice and they have now painted this with white lines. Due to my critical care position, I cannot leave to re park.I parked in hospital grounds as no other places available. Now have a letter from Trethowans , Southhampton threatening court action. I now have 3 tickets and have not paid as can't afford to and already pay a fortune to travel 67 miles to work daily. I personally think it is disgusting that visitors and patients get these too. Does anyone know what I should do?

Yes, you just ignore. Don't be intimidated by their empty and meaningless threats.

Thanks, just worries me a bit. Sure your right though. Don't think the hospital would like the bad press if they were prosecuting patients and visitors never mind staff !! I don't have any intention of paying these , just angers me !

Would not go amiss to have a word with your union rep, the time allowance is stupid and does not reflect current working practice. Get them to use their influence to get it change.

A critical care nurse being pestered for parking while doing their job. I would be going to the press as well as the union as advised!

CP Plus have never ever done court.

Just got 2 letters this morning re Debt recovery plus ltd , obviously moved on from Trethowans !! What should i do , worried about extra cost or credit rating !! ? Anyone help ?? Threatening legal action and costs for debt recovery .

For your credit rating to be affected the case would have to go to court (very unlikely) you lose (very, very unlikely) and THEN you refuse to pay whatever the judge orders within 28 days. This is so remote that it's not worth worrying about. Those letters are just part of their useless scare tactics

i work in a hospital,, well mainly the community,,,had tons of this loo paper over past few years,, nothing legally can/will be done to you,,its just a scam,, ignore all letters from and relating to these cowboys,,relax.

Seconded, ignore it all and read the sticky threads (top of the forum) - just click on the blue link at the top of the page as mentioned in my signature. Then read the stickies by Crabman.

The DRP letter-chain is on the top thread in pictures so you can see where you are with the scamograms.

There's also a Watchdog clip on the thread called 'welcome, please read before posting', have you seen that yet?
