    Try the barclays website...

Thanks for the help (not) and sarcastic comment. If somebody tells me there is a better offer elsewhere, how about them posting a link instead of people having to go look for it?

Because people on this site are not here to nursemaid and shepherd everyone else. Everyone should be prepered to do their own research and not expect someone to put themselves out to deliver it to them on a plate. People post advice on this site to help others but the advice given should only be the start of your search. You have your own financial arrangements which you are responsible for. There is a search function available on this site which allows people to research products that have been discussed umpteen times before, alternatively try https://www.moneyfacts.co.uk or https://www.moneysupermarket.com to see the best deals. These deals are also included in the savings articles available on this site.

So you suggest we waste our time rather than you take the initiative and do something for yourself.

Ok, in case you are wondering, https://www.barclays.co.uk

There are lots of offers on all the banking websites, why waste time everyone looking for it when the person who has already visited it can merely post a direct link?

When bargains pop up, there is always some helpful soul who will post a direct link; this is no different.

    So again; a$$

The fact is the offer's been on for about 12 months, 2 months in its current form. It has been discussed extensively on these boards and the answer is to read back and see what has been discussed recently. It has also been mentioned in the weekly email on several occasions.

I don't understand your reasoning. If someone is offering information then surely it is easier for them to post where theis info has come from whilst typing their original post.

Why should EVERY viewer if they want to take up the offer, go and find it theirselves. Surely time management and common sense comes into play here?

Can we let this drop now?

How about they know the account exits, but don't have a copy of the web address to hand, and so would have to look through the Barclays website to find the details (doing exactly the same thing he asked you to do). tom188 hasn't got unlimited time - I often quickly answer a question on a board when in a rush instead of not answering the question at all. So it would have been just as easy for you to go on the site and find the details yourself (hint - click on 'savings', then there is a big advert for you!), and then post the link for everyone else. Every other person would then not have the difficulty of having to do two clicks to find the page.

Look it's simple, inform the site of a bargain, post where the bargain is! If you don't have time, like i said in my previous post there is always a helpful soul who will take the time to find the link and post it.

Why on earth should everyone who wants to view the product have to go and search for it. I am not saying it's the rules and you must post a link, but common sense says it is far easier to do so.

    And PS:

    and who rattled your cage?
