Eligibility
Entrants are not required to be customers of Amazon.co.uk to enter. No purchase is necessary. The prize-draw is open to entrants who are resident in the United Kingdom except employees of Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment (“Disney”), Amazon EU Sàrl ("Amazon.co.uk") or other representatives of their affiliates, advisors or their immediate family members. Entry implies acceptance of the rules. Amazon.co.uk can accept only those entries that are completed and submitted in the format designated below. Entrants must be 18 years or over.

Prize

There will be one winner. The winner must be aged 18 or over. There is one prize which consists of the following: The prize includes a trip for four people (one winner, over 18, plus three guests) to New York including 4 nights in a luxury 4* hotel and tickets to The Lion King stage show on Broadway (The Lion King is recommended for a general audience. As an advisory to adults who might bring young people, Disney recommends The Lion King for ages 6 and up. It is the policy of the theatre that any child under the age of 3 will not be admitted into the theatre. All persons entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a ticket). Once the show has finished they will then be taken on a VIP backstage tour. What's included: Four nights accommodation in a 4-star hotel (exact dates to be arranged with the winner, but one of the four nights must cover the night of the show, which can be on any date between February 12, 2012 and February 18, 2012; four economy class return flights to New York International Airport, travelling from a London airport to coincide with the the specified dates of the Lion King performance; standard class rail or coach transfers to and from the winners’ home address and departure airport; $500 to cover the cost of transfers between the New York International Airport, hotel and show venue; shared occupancy of two twin rooms or two double rooms or one family room for four nights at a 4-star hotel on a bed and breakfast basis; four tickets to see The Lion King stage show complete with programme on a date between February 12, 2012 and February 18, 2012; behind the scenes tour. The prize carries no cash value and is non-transferable. No spending money is included.

What's Not Included: Any other airport charges including but not limited to excess baggage charges; travel insurance; taxis or other travel costs other than those stated as included; room service and any associated ‘tips’; and, any other incidental expenditure during the trip, food and beverages other than those referenced above.

The winner and their guest are solely responsible for providing travel insurance and passports, including by way of example visas and, any other necessary travel documentation. Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment (“Disney”) or their agent will liaise with the winner to arrange suitable travel dates and times but shall determine airline and flight itinerary, any associated rail or other transport and times, in its sole discretion. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight or train journey. Travel and accommodation are subject to availability. Travel is subject to these Official Rules and the terms and conditions of the airline and any rail company in relation to the relevant ticket, as chosen by Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment (“Disney”). The winner's guests must travel on the same flight/train/coach and at the same time as the winner. Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment (“Disney”) will not replace any lost, mutilated, or stolen tickets or travel documents.

Prize-draw Period

The prize draw will commence on October 3, 2011 and close at 23.59 GMT on Sunday, December 18 2011 ("Prize Draw Period").

Entries

To enter the prize-draw the entrant must submit their name, e-mail address, mailing address and phone number on the online form on the Lion King prize-draw page within the prize-draw period. Once you have done this you will automatically be entered into the prize-draw. All entries are deemed to be entered into the prize-draw on the day of receipt by Amazon.co.uk. All entries, and materials submitted to Amazon.co.uk in connection with the prize-draw (collectively, "Entry Materials"), along with all associated copyright and other proprietary rights, become the property of Amazon.co.uk upon submission, and Entry Materials will not be returned to any entrant. Entrants agree to take any further action (including, without limitation, execution of affidavits and other documents) reasonably requested by Amazon.co.uk to effect, perfect, or confirm Amazon.co.uk's ownership in the Entry Materials and any associated proprietary rights.

Winner Selection

The prize winner shall be selected randomly by Amazon EU Sarl ("Amazon.co.uk") after the Prize Draw Period. The winner will be notified by email within 2 (two) days of being selected. The prize winner will have 2 (two) days from notification to respond to Amazon.co.uk Customer Service to claim the prize. By claiming the prize, you consent to Amazon.co.uk passing on your details to any relevant third party for the purpose of contacting you directly in the event you are a winner.

If a selected winner or substitute winner is unreachable or ineligible, or fails to claim the prize, the winner or substitute winner will forfeit his or her prize and it will be awarded to a substitute winner. Prizes are not transferable, and no substitutions (including cash) will be given, except that Amazon.co.uk may substitute a prize of equal or greater value for any prize. The unclaimed prize remains the property of Amazon.co.uk. This process is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Non winners will not be notified. The name of the winner and their county of residence will be provided on receipt of a written request sent to dvd-questions@amazon.com.

General Release

By entering the prize-draw you release Amazon.co.uk, relevant third parties, and each of their respective affiliated companies, directors, officers, employees, representatives, and agencies from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the prize-draw or with the acceptance, possession, or use of any prize (except as prohibited by law).

Winner

By accepting any prize, entrants consent to the use of their name, address, likeness, and/or prize information for promotional and other purposes without further payment, except where prohibited by law. The winner may be required to participate in Amazon.co.uk's marketing and promotional activities. By entering into this prize-draw you consent to participate in Amazon.co.uk's marketing and promotional activities.
