Slow Cooker - Campbells Soup

Options
I am being a bit lazy tonight as I am tired and there is probably something about this previously. I have one out of date C soup and one nearly out of date (mushroom and tomato). I am not worried about out of date cans - I feel they have a much longer shelf life. I only buy these to cook with. Has anyone done things in SC with soup and does it work?

PS

How on earth do I do an avatar? Have had a look around things but I think my brain too fried to take it on board!

Yes and yes. although I always add about 1/3 can water as they seem a little thick to cook with but I could be doing it wrong.

What else do you put in the slow cooker with your C soup?
I`ve just taken some chicken thighs out the freezer and I have a tin of C soup, chicken and mushroom.

Does Chicken, mushrooms, sweetcorn and a few garden peas sound ok to use with the soup?

It will be done in the SC,how much extra water do you think I should put in? Also never tried mushrooms in SC,do I stick them in later or at the start?

Condensed oxtail soup, 1 can value tomatoes and steak cubed and browned with onions and carrots, swede and potatoes - it makes a wonderful gravy and does not taste of oxtail soup when finished.

I also use a condensed soup when making a chicken pie too. It gives a lovely thick sauce when you cut it open.
