Well, with 1033 views it's safe to say i'll get nothing!0

Also it's Lovefilm, if you have had a free trial chances are it was with them0

I've done LoveFilm free trial recently and I was accepted for Sainsburys.0

I've done LoveFilm before so intially it refused me. But I put a different email address and it let me sign up.
But after the sign up process was complete, it came up with a message saying I'd been with Sainsbury's DVD before (not Lovefilm which it said before), and that unless I cancelled within 30 minutes I would be charged!!
Not best pleased. I've not been with Sainsbury's DVD before, nor has anyone at my address. Why did they actually let me sign up if they weren't going to let me have the trial? Oh well, I've signed up elsewhere now :-)0 -
Lovefilm did that to me in January when I unwittingly signed up for a free trial with them through one of their other partners (can't remember which one but I had no way of knowing it was really Lovefilm).
Even though I cancelled immediately upon receiving their email to say I was ineligible for the free trial, they billed me for a month's rental (£14.99).
I only noticed this on my Egg card statement at the end of the month but when I contacted Lovefilm to point out their mistake, they insisted that they had not billed me!
I thanked them for their prompt reply but told them that they were wrong and that the matter was now in the hands of the card company, who I had instructed to instigate a chargeback.
It still hasn't been resolved. I know it's not a lot of money but it's the principle of it and I will give them hell for messing me about so that they'll think twice before doing the same to anyone else.0 -
I had the same trouble with Lovefilm i bought a cooker from Currys and was given a voucher for a free months trial of DVD rental, it turned out to be through Lovefilm and they refused my free month because i had had a free trial previously, i intended to get back to Currys to see if this was mentioned in the offer anywhere but never got round to it.WHOOOOSHHHHHHHHH……..
