Talking of PSUs, does anyone know a suitable replacement for the dead PSU?

Not specifically, but make sure you get one with a similar or higher power output (660W by the look of it).

It's a bit OTT but I did a fair bit of research a couple of years ago and was really impressed with the reviews of the 850 watt Corsair 850HX. It's a bit pricey but I'd certainly recommend it if the reviews were anything to go by, and (although that probably doesn't mean much) it looks well-made and seems to be working perfectly well. In fact most of the Corsair PSUs get good reviews, so maybe a lower power one would be save a bit of cash...

Tom's Hardware is usually a good place to start looking for component reviews. (That link goes to tomshardware.com, but they also have a UK-specific site at tomshardware.co.uk.)

Got a Thermaltake Toughpower XT 875W as a replacement and all working fine. V happy it isnt the mobo that went too!

Now need to back up the SCSIs and the SATAs on raid. Annoyingly one of the sata data jumper sockets broke off with the cable so may need to repalce the hard drive logic board.
