An excellent review of DX6440 (nearly the same camera) in Steve's Digicams- a renowned digicam review site, link here:

Can anyone upload a photo to megaupload so I can see the quality.
Already have a 3.2 Megapixel camera but can't find many positive reviews of this one (other than people on this thread). Blurring gets a few mentions.

Here are three sample snaps I've taken. One of them uses the [great] optical zoom. If you're looking at quality I'd save them to desktop and zoom in and out at will, as opposed to an internet browser's either tiny or huge options. Please note I'm not a very good photographer! I also cropped the middle one to remove a large light fitting that was in the way.

I have to admit the only blurring I have had is in night mode [where the shutter has to stay open a little longer], and when using the zoom maxed out. This is entirely due to me not having a very steady hand, and not the camera's fault at all.

If you'd like more example pics - for example, a close up on an object, or people, or something - I'll try my best to go and get good ones.

Points go to Labman, I'm afraid!

The second and third pics are indeed from Kelvingrove, and the first is Glasgow University from the River Kelvin.

That's right....leak the bonus question! Glasgow Uni. & Kelvin was a give away....was working on the organ pic. for the killer points!

Spitfire should have been in the main/cafe entrance IMHO....not with the animals. Don't get me started on where the £30 million was spent....cos I don't see it!

    I feel soooooo stupid now!:o

The building looks so similar inside. I haven't been there for a long time! There was definately a plane in Bristol museum entrance hall but thinking about it, I think it was an old bi-wing thing.

    Here's Bristol's, similar architecture:
