  • I personally was glad it had a battery with it, I had none to hand, especially a high powered one that I assume the camera needs.

I was quite excited when it arrived and wanted to have a play with it straightaway.

As quoted elsewhere, it will take over 300 photos before running out so very handy for all!

Jeez some people are just not satisfied, the battery is to get you started.

Got 1 also today, great camera for the price.

Agree this isnt a refurb camera, either promotion or camera was part of the camera & printer deal.
Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j
  • The UPS site says that they tried to deliver mine today, but I've been in all day!! Says they're going to try a 2nd delivery attempt, hope it's not tomorrow, going to be out most of the day :(

Will they send it back if I'm not in?

The issue is not that I am never satisfied...I am fully aware that the battery is just to get the camera started...That's my point..DOH

You obviously have no time to spare or are far too lazy and so need to make use of the already charged battery because you are far too busy or too lazy to wait a few hours to charge one of your own...and you also obviously have no thought for the damage all these 1000's of NON RE-CHARGABLE batteries which are thrown away daily do to the enviroment when they are just discarded into the bin.

Can I politely ask that you get down off your high horse and perhaps visit an appropriate forum for such preaching - this is the 'Quick, Grabbit while you can' forum not the 'Change the world to make it a better place' forum.
