Just to let all you budding gardeners know that Wilkinson are currently doing a BOGOF on all their veg and flower seeds - not sure how long for.

Take a look at the store locator on here, definately worth a visit if there is one near you.

Thanks for the link.
By time I get to my nearest one any savings would be gone because of petrol or train fares.
Now looking through address book for friends/family that live nearer! then they become my personal shoppers!0 -

Thanks. Just been down to the local one and got quite a few of the seeds on my list for planting this yearMaxjessdru wrote:Just to let all you budding gardeners know that Wilkinson are currently doing a BOGOF on all their veg and flower seeds - not sure how long for.
Hurrah for BOGOF Debts: Mum £3923 0% APR0 -
The BOGOF at Wilkinson is for both their own brand and for Johnson's seeds - although someone above has suggested that they are the same (?).
Woolworths also have BOGOF on their Suttons seeds at the moment and on some of the bulbs and perennial plants. This includes onion sets. I got a pack of 100 Sturon (white onions) + a pack of 100 red barron (red onions) on BOGOF for £2.99. The same would have cost £6.48 + p&p from the Thompson & Morgan catalogue - and they look good quality too.0 -
Got these today:
Courgette 0.59
Basil 0.79
Dwarf French Bean 0.99
Cayenne Pepper 1.29
Lettuce Mixed 0.79
Radish 0.49
Beetroot 0.49
Tomato 0.49
I intended to put these through in several transactions to make best use of the BOGOF (as usually cheapest free), but in the end was pushed for time so put them through all at once. Was pleasantly surprised to have 0.99, 0.79 and 2x 0.49 deducted, making total cost £3.16 (total saved £2.76).
Also got two propagators, the heavy duty plastic type for £2.29 each, pretty sure these are usually more than this
