Car Insurance - Cancelling etc

    Ahh, didn’t realise there was a tree involved.

    Note that if the insurance paid to recover and/or store the car it make my suggestion above about cancelling the claim as nothing was paid out less useful as the company will have paid out, just not to your daughter.

    I think they did but not 100% sure so need to ask her about that. I know that she'd been paying for a courtesy car as an extra and they didnt give her that so she stopped paying the extra for that but other than that I dont think she got anything at all from them, apart from a bill for over £250 which may well have been for the removal of the car when the claim was stopped due to value of the car.
