    Think positive,

My wife has a history of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

    e.g.

Covers being blown off a petrol pump by strong winds when filling up and scratching her car :rotfl:, yes it really happened, and even though the garage was in receivership she still got her car repaired eventually.

Then she was rammed by a dometic repair company van at some traffic lights, when the other driver didn't bother reporting it she rang the owner of the company who arranged repairs.

Finally she was rammed by a milk float whose brakes had failed a few years ago, again the other insurers paid out.

And I still let her drive my car.......

Starting to think I should not have bothered calling my insurance and just forked out for a new wing mirror and lived with the scratch.

Anyone know how much a wing mirror for a 2005 Nissan Micra might set me back - its electric if that makes any difference.

Ha ha what a great husband - I know I would just be banned from driving by my other half.

I need to stop obsessing about this until I know what the score is.

When I recently removed my wifes n/s door mirror on the garage door it cost me £320 including painting to match. It's an 08 pug 307 cc which apparently no one supplies complete mirrors for except a main dealer.:(

Try ebay as there are some after market specialists on there selling for a lot less.
