Just had a phone call from candis - anyone else received one?

I had problems with Candis a while back, I got stopped in the street and talked into signing up for the magazine on monthly subscription after about a week they called to say that I was eligable for a discount on the subscription, and a few days later I went to the bank and found that they tried to take the whole years money out in one go.. I checked the paperwork and had signed for monthly not yearly so showed it to the bank who refunded the bank charge and cancelled the DD so that they couldnt try and take anymore. I called candis and told them to cancel my subscription and they called me every week until I put them on block saying I owed them for all the magazines that I never recieved!
so do be careful, I know they are supposed to be a charity thing of sorts but they are a pain!

Yup had the call during Strictly Take Two!!!
Told me they could enter me in 175 competitions a month!! WOOHOO - NOT!

Told him I enter that a day (& more some days) :rotfl::rotfl:

Yup there was a £2.75 charge too.

Strangely enough I didn't bother either
