Tesco Vouchers for Holidays

I was wondering if anyone has used their Tesco vouchers for paying for a holiday. Did everything go smoothly? Are there any rules i should know about or any useful tips you could give me?

I've saved about £125 worth which will give me £500 off :T , i'm not thinking of going until summer 2008.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Only today i ahve been looking at booking a hoilday with cosmas, but a week 12th may in majorca was over £1100! for4 3 people i think that is alot of money, so i am going to spend mine in MFI and buy a super oven that i normally would not be able to afford. I think tesco vouchers are better sendt, I am also going to pay 28.50 in vouchers for a years cover with HSA as i think this is value for money as 2 of us have to pay for the densist, i can claim back half the cost for the accupurure i have and my glasses, which would save me money!!

I used my tesco vouchers to book a holiday for siblu.

My advice would be to get a quote as a regular customer, get the breakdown of which discounts they have given you etc, and then say that you MIGHT use your tesco vouchers and ask how that works.

That takes the emphasis off the price and hopefully they will just tell you the procedure and not take any of the discounts away.

At that point get the quote number and ring back another day to go ahead.

I did that and they only said i wasnt eligible for one of the 3 discounts, so it didnt work out too much more to do it via tesco.

    Good luck!

I've just used my vouches to pay for flights for me and my friends with xl.com

But it is worth checking with xl.com as they do holidays as well. Not many but maybe it is worth looking at.
  • Thanks for your responses. I'm going to get the appropriate brochures, check out the prices and as DJ chris suggests get a quote before telling them i will be using Tesco vouchers.
