Turning OFF text-to-voice on home phone.

Like many others, I have voicemail turned off (to give my callers the chance of a free call if they cannot contact me). MSE has published a BT number to allow user to opt out of recieving SMS to Speech annoyances, however this now doesn't appear to work when your number is ported to Virgin.

0800 587 5252 - Option 1

will provide you with details of your profile on the system, and allow you to specify the hours your phone will ring with an inbound call, or switch it off completely.

But on Virgin? I still get the calls and a 07953 number is getting through. As VM are giving out the above number as the only route to store your preferences, something is not quite right, ans I would imagine another netowkr has the same front end, but a different look-up table of who wants and doesn't want SMS to Speech calls.

All info greatly welcomed!
