new ebay glitch?

Yesterday I was just checking my ebay account and noticed that I had marked an unpaid item as despatched. Obviously I cursed myself a few times and thought I'd make a mistake- but it dawned on me that I don't pack my items until I see the paypal paid symbol in ebay and follow that through to th epaypal page to get an address- so this could not have been despatched without payment. Sure enough the payment is still there in paypal.

Just logged in again and another 5 items (one of which is to a nightmare buyer) all suddenly show up as unpaid, yet a check in paypal shows these are paid and there is no recall or note on the account about any issues.

Have I found a glitch or are the gremlins in my account?

There was a notice on eBay recently that sales status were not updating on Selling Manager etc and that it was resolved, but it's not, it's come back. It's not just you.

We'll have to keep checking our PayPal accounts till eBay fix it.

I only sell a bit now and again and this happened to me last week, 3 items i had confirmation for and the other 2 just marked as paid and in my account. Thought it was me not being up to speed on things!

'We would like to let Sellers know that we are aware that some items that have been paid through PayPal are not being correctly updated as paid in My eBay and that old/purchased site emails are also not being received.

This issue has been escalated to our highest priority level in recent days and we have found the cause of the issue and measures are already underway to resolve it. We are also looking at ways to recover the transactions that are impacted.

Please accept our apologies for the disruption and ongoing inconvenience caused by the problem. We will update this post with any further news as it becomes available.

Strangely enough I had no problems in September, only now. My stuff goes from paid to unpaid overnight- and then mainly back again.

This happened to me as a buyer the other month. Bought and paid for something then next time I logged into ebay it was showing "1 item to pay for". When I messaged the seller they said it was showing as unpaid in their ebay as well but they could see the transaction in Paypal, said it had happened to them a few times.

Well I wish they would blooming sort it out- my heart jumps whenever I see another item showing as despatched and feedback left- but unpaid.
