Missed Payment Fees/Markers

OK - sticking to the purely factual information for you OP.
A DD is just a means to pay - not a guarantee of payment in itself. The responsibility for ensuring payment is made lies with you, therefore you have to check each month that the DD has paid in line with your agreed terms. If not - your responsibility.
So you may (only may) have a case to appeal to the banks better nature and see if they will reverse the entries however it seems you may (only may) have blown that chance by becoming overly militant without being in full possession of the facts.
Factually it was your responsibility.0 -

No need to get a hump because you don't like what I have said.
Non of my post are rude or bad. I normally say "As is"
in your case three DD got failed by the bank, the card company never received the payment. How can this be MBNA's fault.
Any card company or bank will report this to the credit file and unlikely to remove it.
The Problem with the DD need to be taken up with the bank.
You are happy to use the money on the card but find it difficult to pay their money back. It seem that further credit is difficult to get due to the marks on the file and you are trying to find the way out of it.
You are indeed rude, as well as obnoxious, objectionable etc. Please take a look at some of the evidence:
1.You are happy to use the money on the card but find it difficult to pay their money back.
2. It seem you are. If you read the message 10 times you will find the answer. Try it.
3. Some post are getting silly by the day.
4. Its never my fault: All three missed payment are MBNA fault, and I should have been looked after by them - I am never at fault.
But in my opinion the following sums you up perfectly:
"This is to inform you that you need to pay me £10000. If I dont hear from you by 18.30 on 04/10/2011 I will assure that you agree to this and expect the payment within 7 days"
What a pathetic comparison, with that i bad you farewell and wish you all that you wish me!0 -

Sorry - it may or may not be your fault, but one thing's for sure - it's definitely not MBNA's fault. You said earlier your bank cancelled the DD. If it's anyone's fault, it's either yours or the bank's - but not MBNAs.
BTW I don't work for MBNA, never have done, never will do.0 -

Why would I want to think bad about you or anyone. What would I get from this?
Your OP sound like you are trying to hold MBNA to ransom. I will only pay your money back if you agree to my T&C otherwise you are not getting anything. I dont have anything to do with MBNA or any card company.
This is the reason you got a few funny remarks. If your OP have explain the reason you would have got better answer. Nowhere in your post you have written to say some of it is also your fault such as should have checked the DD or should have checked the 2nd DD to make sure the payment is gone. You need to take some responsibility.
I can only comment on what is written, if you have other reason for not being able to pay than I am sorry as I am not aware of this.
Also if you look at my post I only put funny remarks when the post is not for help more to do with how I can get away with free money or how to write the debt off.
The good post will always get good answer.

I have never said it was the fault of MBNA at any point, please try reading my posts again. Or in the words of the goodman, whom you seek to defend:
If you read the ....(Posts 1,7 & 19)..... 10 times you will find the answer. Try it.
Don't care who you work for even if you have a job:whistle:

OK I get it - you are a troll, right? You also said, in your more recent post 23 which you cunningly omit from your recommended re-reading list:4. Its never my fault: All three missed payment are MBNA fault, and I should have been looked after by them - I am never at fault.
No wonder you mess up your credit rating if you can't remember what you say from one day to the next.
Just go away if you're only interested in contradicting yourself to create a bit of noise and get the attention you seek.
I will feed this troll no more.0 -
Thanks Tixy, I know i owed the money and had to pay them, but I paid in full on the said basis so as far as i am concerned i made them an offer and by cashing my cheque they accepted that offer, after all they had the choice to reject my offer and send the cheque back didn't they?
Why can i not put such conditions on, is this in general T&C's or set out somewhere else that prevents me making such an offer.
Thanks again
Take care0 -

I didn't try and change the T&Cs but they have conceded that they will either return the payment to me (the account will return as an active account as before, albeit with the late markers. Payments that would of been due will be deducted from the amount they pay back to me) or have the markers removed, so happy days either way really. They have till 15 Nov to decide . . . . . .0
