...fitted?
Planning a new kitchen :jand I really like the seamless lines of Corian. I like that it's tactile and I'd want the white colour with built in sink. I'm looking online and there are lots of suppliers, can you recommend anyone? The kitchen will be from Ikea by the looks of it.
My OH wants a quote for all the works so I need to have a rough figure!
Thank you!

Which white? There are several colours.
What edge profile?
Upstands? Cut outs? Notches? Which sink? Draining grooves? etc etc
It's not just a case of how much per metre, it is a bespoke item and needs to be costed accordingly. There are so many variables to consider that can pump the price up.
Last 2 I've had priced (not through work, direct from Sheridans)
1st came to £3600; Bisque Corian, average sized kitchen (13 units), one 871 sink, type D drainer, Single Pencil edge, 2 joins, 1 full return, 1 part return.
2nd came to £6140; Venaro White Corian, medium sized kitchen (17 units), one 802 sink, one 804 sink, type F drainer, Ovolo edge, 3 joins, 2 part returns, 2 angled returns, 50mm coved upstand.
A little more detail would help...If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

I like "designer white", deep square profile (6cm I think), round mixa sink, upstands all round (not sure what to go behind hob), cut out for the hob and a hole for the tap.
My kitchen will be small, 7 cabinets (plus two tall ones), L shape so one joint.
Better?0 -
We have been buying a fair bit from Rearo and I noticed this deal:-

I'd probably guess between £2500 and £3000, somewhere around that figure anyhows...If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

Have a chat with these people:-

They will provide you with a quote.
Don't discount Hi-Macs - it's the same thing made by another firm.
Corian and such fall into the category of "Solid Surface". It's twice the thickness of products like Minerelle (at 12mm as opposed to 5mm to 6mm) and doesn't come with MDF backing from the factory (the fabricators add the wooden framework to the purpose made product once machined).
I'm actually in the process of putting together a new website that answers questions like this.
I've devised seven of the most common kitchen layouts and will be putting together ballpark figures for lots of different types of products so people get a comparison and idea of what a product will cost for their kitchen.
I get so many phone calls from people who really have absolutely no idea what particular products cost - fundamentally all they want to know is will it cost £500, £1500, £2,500 or £5,000 plus without having to listen to the hard sell or waste someones time giving them a detailed quote they don't have the budget for.0 -
Thanks Alan, it's a good idea for the website. I, just like most people I imagine, just want to factor the rough guide price in my budget, so I know how much to put away for a worktop. I've not ordered the kitchen yet, once we start doing the place up I'll have the exact idea.
So thank you all for your input!
How does Hi-Macs compare to Corian? Is that the same thing but cheaper? It's always about price0 -
Hi-macs, Staron, Hanex are very similar to Corian. They are all slightly cheaper than Corian (5-25%).
However this is only material pricing differential. Fabrication costs are the same for all brands so the final product pricing will probably not reflect this price difference depending on how many features are selected. We’ve had to remove your signature.
