Cost of MSC?

Is around 11k reasonable?
I estimated
4k tution fees
39 * £80 = £3120 accomodation
£100 a week spending money for 39 weeks = £3900
Total £11020
I be living out of London, I don't think I be going out much as I will be looking for a job.
Anyone know what the cost would be? I don't think I can get any sort of support.
Thanks

I wouldn't have thought 100 a week would be enough for spending money.
How did you come to that figure?0 -
Is that £11,000 per year!!!?? Sorry but cause im from scotland i getting funding etc and dont have any concept of ho much it would cost me if i didnt. Wow thats a blooming lot. And cant you get support from uni have you checked site etc?0

Tuition fees for MSc's vary greatly, and can be up to £12000 per academic year. Have you checked for the university that you are interested in? xGone ... or have I?0

i agree with dmg24 - the living costs and fees will be dependent on your uni and your course. it's also worth finding out how the uni will want your fees paid. i had to pay mine in 3 installments so even if you will work enough to cover it, it's tough to come up with the first payment of over £1000, even if you'll get that from the job you get. helps to know that kind of thing in advance!:happyhear0

It can be for some people. I'm a UG student in London, and I budget on £54 a week (exempting rent/bills/transport), and I sometimes don't even spend that much - this is on a socialising bill of zero or not much over, though. Depends on circumstances, area, and lifestyle.0
