    I sometimes correct others posts or add a note with particulars so that the OP (or future readers) will understand their rights and not mis-quote them.

    We've had more than a few shop workers who said they would only make things more difficult for customers if those customers started quoting their "rights" and "laws" that are wrong.

    I doubt the reason of the post was to pick fault with you. More just so members arent misinformed

    Sorry, I saw your statement and asked a question. I now know your statement had no legal basis which was my reason for asking as I'm now more informed. Am I allowed to ask what the main thrust of the point that I derided?
