If you have not got windows explorer on your desk top and search does not find it then look in the start menu. It is found in the sub folder "accessories"0

I'm on an XP machine, and when I open Explorer I have a Title Bar with Window title, minimise, maximise, close buttons (at the top) and immediately below that, a toolbar with File - Edit - etc - TOOLS - Help - the Menu Bar similar to third picture at this page
If you don't have this, what do you have?
If you right-click on the title bar, do you get a sub-menu with an option to switch toolbars on and off?0 -

I click on the start menu, windows exporer is the second option, I click on that & it open up 'libraries'0

On windows 7 it's in control panel - open it up and go to programs - set associations - have a look for html in that list as see what is being used to open themIf I have helped in any way, and you feel like it - please press the thanks button:beer:0

I've got as far as control panel, then programmes - where do I go then to find set associations?
when I get inti programmes it gives me 5 options:Programme & features - default programmes - desktop gadgets - click to run app manager - java 32 bit0 -
- click start >
- then click 'Default programs' >
- in the box that opens up click 'set your default programs' (top option)>
- in the next screen on the left hand side click on the internet browser you normally use (eg chrome, firefox, internet explorer)>
- then on the right hand side select 'Set this program as default'
that should solve the problem.0
