Hi,
I sent a letter to Capital One requesting refund, but did not send the FOS questionnaire along with it.
Now I have had their rejection letter, do I respond to Capital One enclosing the questionairre or do I now go directly to the FOS?
Many Thanks,
Danny.

Hi Danny
You could of course give it another go, ask them to reconsider your complaint by 14 days, give them any further info that you may think of that applies to you, and tell them your not happy with the outcome, as you do believe you have genuine reasons to make a reclaim, and as a valued customer you expect them to investigate your complaint thoroughly, as you don't feel your reasons have been taken into consideration, and have been overlooked.
Did they mention the Financial ombudsman service (FOS) at this stage, normally in the final letter they will let you know if your eligible to complain to the FOS or not, but some will relook into complaints despite given a final decision, but not guaranteed.
Maybe worth another shot though, and if you hear nothing by 14 days, or if they have not changed the decision in your favour, then try complaining to the FOS.
Hope this helps, good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

Thanks very much DizzyDi, very helpful.
Yes in their letter they do state that it is their final response & I have up to 6 months to complain to the FOS.
I think I will give it one more shot with them directly, this time enclosing the questionairre.
Thanks again.0
