Amazing things from £1 shops.

Hi,

I was on the lookout for a new sky remote for a while and very surprised to see a similar type remote at my local pound shop. Ok it may not be as sturdy as the normal sky remote with the rubber part at bottom (my young son was biting into the rubber bit anyway on the old remote) I took it home and it works just like a normal sky remote and does the telly as well. Just looks like the normal sky remote so good I actually bought a few more.

Just wondering what bargains have you picked up form your local £ shop?

    Suggestion;
    Put Tesco's somewhere in the title and you'll get hundreds of replies.

    Otherwise this is an excellent topic. Well done OP

    Excellent, we have ''misplaced'' our sky remote, so thanks for this.

    I didnt relish the thought of shelling out £20

    We were renovating a house recently and managed to purchase all of the white tiles for the bathroom in a large size and the kitchen in a smaller size. £1 for a box was a great deal.

    I got my 8 y/o DS a set of the bugs "like Hexbugs" for £1 each, they are fascinating to watch when they all scurry about, I hear they have been forced to stop selling them, haven't checked yet, but they are WELL worth a couple of quid for Christmas if they still have them when you go in.

    :shocked: ask sirbrainy, i think he has stumbled across an amazing poundshop bargain. :whistle:
    My opinion is neither copyrighted nor trademarked, and it's price competitive. If you like, I'll trade for one of yours.
