Charity shop for books in Edinburgh

I'm getting jealous of people on these boards talking about their 10p books and bags of books for £1. I'm an avid reader and I need a cheap fix! I live in Newhaven and work in the National Museum on Chambers Street, so would prefer shops in those locations. I prefer 'literary fiction' and classics, but I'd like to find…

I was in the Nicholson St area last week at the Dentists :eek: :eek:

I had a look in some of the many charity shops and quite a few seem to have book sales on at the mo - either a BOGOF or 3 for £1 etc on paperbacks and deals on hardbacks too. Not all were doing this ie not the Oxfam bookshop but might be worth a look if you are in the area
