Hello members,
My new car insurer didn’t ask for a proof of no claim entitlement certificate till now. It’s been over a week since I bought the insurance. Should I sit back and wait for them to ask for it or call them and find out.
Thanks

Phone them and offer it to them; otherwise you might find yourself starting a thread in a few weeks time where your premium got increased by £600 because you didn't submit your proof of NCD.0

I believe some insurance companies can check your NCD entitlement without needing to see a piece of paper as proof. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

I recently changed from Churchill to Direct Line, when the documents arrived they said 'We have succesfully obtained your Proof of NCD.'0

Can they increase the premium without any notice? I haven't received my certificate yet and hence can't provide one.
My insurer is InsureTheBox0 -
