Double oven with fan in both ovens

We are looking for a double built in oven with a fan in both ovens - most we have looked at are fan in the main oven and then conventional heat in the top oven but we would like a fan in both.

The only one we can see is the Neff U16E74 but at £1200 it is more than I would like to pay - we don't have enough space for two singles so are there any other manufacturers who do a double built in with fans in both ovens?

Thanks
Jason

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
If you want a double oven with fans in both cavities, you will usually have to look at the top spec model for most manufacturers.

As far as cooking performance goes, it doesnt really get better than Neff.

You could consider two single ovens mounted one over the other. We went for a large double oven which has two full size ovens (both with fan) and it's 1020mm high which looks fine in a tall unit. Two singles would be a similar height I think. Two singles also gives you the opportunity to have the top one a different spec to the bottom. And you get two decent sized ovens instead of one and a half.
  • It is built in and we are putting a microwave as well as the double oven in hence no way could 2 singles fit in that space - we don't have the option to put a second tower in so only have that to play with.

Sorry - I should have read the post properly! But maybe you could think about what's more important to you - a built in microwave or two ovens.

Why don't you go for a single oven with a combination microwave oven above it?

That way you get a full size cavity in the bottom oven, and a medium in the top...
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

Did briefly consider that but my experience of combination microwaves has been varied to say the least so wanted to avoid that if we could - having said that, maybe the technology has improved greatly in the last few years to make it more feasible.

They have got a load better, far more economical now and have functions to rival the standalone ovens...
