The Crooks Are Now Running The Insurance Companies

I made the mistake of signing for motor insurance with 1st Central and am now stranded until the decided to answer my problem costing me 3 days work so far
They initially seemed OK but that was the sales line, tried phoning customer services and I’m currently up to 4hrs on holds and being passed from pillar to post
When i took out my insurance i gave my bank details for the standing order.
Because i knew i was going to be away for several weeks i did it early,,, trouble is they are having problems setting up the direct debit, they wrote to me twice and then cancelled my policy.
Problem is i was working away and didn't get my post, but worse I drove for a full 2 days without insurance as it was only when i got home i found there email saying my policy had been cancelled even the email was 2 days late.
They are now saying the want £30 to cancel the policy and the £140 deposit is non refundable So basically they want £170 for 2 days insurance.
My concern is i need my car to work, and I'm already finding it so hard to make ends meet i have no way to find the new deposit with an alternative insurer.
The 3 day’s work i have lost has already cost me over £200 which is going to hit hard next month just before Xmas
I was already in a seriously depressed state, and this whole affair with the dread of Xmas looming my dreams of suicide are looking more and more welcoming. At least my mortgage pays out for suicide so my wife won't loose the house, and i'm sure she will be better off without me dragging her down
Can I warn you not to use these crooks, you certainly get what you pay for or not in this case

They are more likely to be idiots than crooks.
I suggest you fax a complaint to them.0
