Quick help please - cat pee on duvet!

I'm flat/cat-sitting at the mo for a friend. Her very cute and slightly batty 7 month old kitty has peed on the bed. My friend warned me this might happen but that she'd not done it for about a month...
Anyway, should I just take the duvet to the dry cleaners? It won't fit in the washing machine... Is there anything I can do to put the cat off going on the bed (eg. certain fragrances or sprays)?
Got an hour before the dry cleaners closes and can't take it tomorrow, so quick replies much appreciated!
ETA - dry cleaners said they can't guarantee to get the smell out!

I've used 'Olbas Oil' to deter my cat from somewhere.0

Table salt- very little sprinkled around works....0

Most cats hate carrier bags, my cat wouldn't go near the bed if there was a carrier bag on it. They don't like clove oil either. (Although a lot of humans hate the smell of cloves too!)
Could you not just keep the bedroom door shut?"I may be many things but not being indiscreet isn't one of them"0 -
I've heard distilled white vinegar will kill the smell...mine was a nightmare when he was a kitten; if you don't kill off the smell when cleaning they will hunt out the same spot and go on it againDo good deeds and you could raise the curtain, do good deeds and you could really raise your life....0

dont dry clean most laundretts have huge washing machines that will take duvets - costs around a fiver
wash with BIOLOGICAL powder
thats really all you can do - nothing will mask / eliminate the smell
oh
and the cat will come back and pee on the same spot over and over if you dont do this
- lovely !
I have "some " cats so sadly more experience than i'd like
wetting the patch slightly with anything just spreads the edges dosnt clean it

You could probably have fitted it into a machine at a launderette, as they're bigger. Only if it is machine washable of course. I wonder if dry cleaning is sufficient for removing urine?0

Shut the bedroom door.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Cats hate their people going away. And the best way to express this is by peeing on the beds. Keep the bedroom door shut until the owners are back. Try to spend extra time with little miss kitty also.
Just checking, is the litter box clean? As in, every 2 days? Cats don't like too clean boxes. That sounds mad, I know. As in, don't scrub it within an inch of it's life every day. But don't leave any poo in it. Happy medium for happy kitty!0
