Hotpoint Washing Machine Problem

I had a new drum fitted in my Hotpoint washing machine on Friday. This morning went to put a load of washing on and then realised half way through lights were flashing and it had got stuck midway on the Rinse and Spin cycle. I have rung up Hotpoint and they are not coming out until Wednesday.
Trouble is I still have the washing in the machine and can't seem to get it to spin or empty the water out.
Does anyone know how to get the water out so I can get my clothes out!

Hi FC,
Do your flashing lights correspond to some sort of diagnostic chart? If yes, what does it tell you (not call hotpoint, hopefully...)? It may be that your hoses (inlet or waste) have become kinked in the process of the drum refit. If the machine cannot expel the waste water for example, the machine may halt (to avoid damage).
Just a guess but might be worth looking into unless the diagnostic directs you otherwise.....

my machine is by the back door.
so i just put the waste hose to outside, below the WM level, and the water drains out by itself.Get some gorm.0 -

It's the 2nd and 4th lights flashing down the left hand side, creases and mini load and the on/off button flashs. Tried again today but still not able to spin, rinse, pump water out. So will have to see what he says tomorrow.0 -

Morning,
Not knowing what these flashing lights indicate makes this post a stab in the dark but here goes. Have a look at this link:

Might be totally off track here but it looks a little more problematic/expensive than merely un-kinking a hose (hope I am completely wrong, obviously).
The lights are a diagnostic of what is wrong with the machine and the paperwork that came with it should tell you. If you don't have this Google your machine and try and establish what the lights indicate. If the repair guy says you need a new flange actuator* or (heaven forbid) crimp socket* you will at least be able to tell him that the diagnostic says there's a pcb fault...
Fingers crossed your issue will be resolve (cheaply) tomorrow.

Yes, but you can still drain it manually by running the drain hose into a a shallow tray of some sort.No free lunch, and no free laptop

yes you can, several shallow basins on floor, someone to hold hose upright whilst you empty buckets.
I had same problem with my hotpoint. Emptied it this way, removed pump and filter (at back of machine) cleaned both and it started working again. Although if it's under warranty I wouldn't recommend you do the filter and pump on your own.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -
All fixed now, engineer came out Wednesday, there was a blockage in the pipe, once that was cleared it all worked ok then. Thanks for all the suggestions.0
