Advice on template letter please

Hi,
I took out an unsecured personal loan with HSBC in 2005 when I was a student (also working pt in a shop).
I applied online and then went to the bank to sign all the paperwork.
I had sick pay through my job, pre existing medical conditions after a bad car accident and was led to believe taking PPI was compulsary when I signed the paperwork.
Can anyone guide me to which template letter I'll have most success with please?
Many thanks

Go to the PPI reclaiming guide and download the FOS questionnaire, fill it in with as much information as you possibly having stating the reasons why you feel you were missold and send it off to HSBC, then wait the reply.

Sorry to just jump on here but I also have a HSBC loan from 2005 but it is a managed loan - are these treated differently?
many thanks

Thankyou philzi. I had looked at that but was still a bit unsure. However 'relooking' when you linked it I spotted the MSE help guide

Lisaf - no idea I'm afraid. But maybe someone else will know. Fingers crossed for you0 -
Managed loans it seems are for those in poor credit rating/history situations. I would have thought that possibly you may have been missold the PPI but without further info, i guess those here cannot give clear advice.0
