Can I apply for a credit card while working my notice?

Hi all, Hope everyone is well...
I've just been made redundant and I'm currently being paid in lieu of notice. One thing I need to sort out, while job hunting of course, is my finances and I would like to apply for a credit card to transfer balances over onto. My question is, can I apply now stating that I have the salary I've just been made redundant from as technically, I'm still employed? Or will that count as fraud? I don't want to commit fraud!
Very grateful for any advice. I should have done this before now but found out we were being interviewed for our jobs (ie made redundant) while I was away on holiday so had no time to do it before interview, and found out the very next day I hadn't kept my job!
Thanks for any advice and good luck out there!

As long as you answer the questions accurately I don't see why not. Check the small print carefully though to make sure that there is nothing in there which requires you to make it known if you are under notice for any reason.0

Thank you!
Just a bit nervous of stating I have an income of X. Technically it's true just now, but won't be in a few weeks!
WHY didn't I do this before my interview?! I thought I didn't have time as I was busy preparing for the interview but it took about 5 mins to go through the Barclaycard application online!

Of course, I'm sure you've thought carefully about your ability to make payments off your new card once you are out of work...0
