Hi my teenage daughter has asked for a laptop for Christmas, she will be more interested in what it looks like but I am concerned with capability and future use. £400 is my absolute top price but I would like a good multi tasking processor and a blu ray drive. I would also prefer windows 7, so far the only budget one I've found was vista.
It would need to be capable of running sims, so I get my vaio back
I would appreciate any recommendations you can make, either for a suitable machine or good value retailer.
Thanks guys, appreciate your time

Good luck with that. Is there actually any laptops with Blu Ray for £400? A quick look on Ebuyer shows you're about £125 short.0
