Hi,
I have MS Office 2010, it's the Home Use version for upto 3 computers - and it is indeed installed on 3 laptops.
I have just bought a replacement laptop, if I install Office 2010 presumably it will not activate? Is it clever enough that if I uninstall on old lapop it will know I have one license installed in effect left?
Thanks.

You will need to uninstall office from one machine. There may be a problem when you use the licence key on the new machine, but if you activate by telephone they will normally give you an extra licence for the software.
Hope this helps0 -
Activate by phone, say it is installed on 2 machines.0
