Hi,

Can you just buy the wine alone? And if it's £8.29 vs £5 get it for £1.71?

I'm totally confused I thought DTD had finished and they were just paying the different now?

Sorry for being thick. (i ha e never done meal
Deal before.) u buy a meal deal for £10,right times 6. Then it deducts further 25% off wine. With £8ish wine it deducts £12something,meaning the meal now cost £8 each. Having it price checked deducts another £3ish. So u get meal for around £5 in the end,right?

yes it was meal deals, I know it didn't work in the past but this time it did. It's a guessing game as to whether something will work or not on JTD. Full receipt below. I bought a few other bits too that wouldn't price match (forgot about the rolls though)

so...i'll try and calculate this from the top.

i buy 6 meals deals for £60.

the wines will come to a total of £49.74 (before meal deal discount kicks in).

25% off wine discount (49.74*0.25) = £12.44

total cost at tesco = £60 - £12.44 = £47.56.

£6 off £40 spend (morrisons) = £41.56

JTD price check = £19.74 back

net total cost at tesco = £41.56 - £19.74 = £21.82

cost per meal deal = £21.82/6 = £3.64

and that is not including any extra conditional spend coupons you may have for tesco, sainsbury's etc.!!!

plus 94 CC points per transaction!!! (more with green bag points!)

have i got the above correct?
