Urgently needed: cans of old style Hills L/D for my sick cat

Not sure who to ask but am going nuts as Hills pet foods have unilaterally decided to change the ingredients of the food keeping my elderly, sick furry friend alive - the canned L/D feline tins. It used to be made with beef and has the capital letter E in a little box on the can's label just next to the recycle symbol. (the new pork-based food has IA in that box). Expiry date was 09/2008 and batch no T2331239. Hills are sending me one last tray of 22 cans but that won't last long. He hates it so much that even when I mixed a tiny bit of the new in with the old, he rejected the whole caboodle. His disease is one that becomes very serious even with 1 day not eating.
If anyone out there can help source any cans or trays of the old food, I'd be very grateful. I know he can't stay on this food indefinitely but it will help with phasing in another one.
If anyone has a name for someone senior at Hills I can contact, I'd be grateful too. The food is aimed at really sick cats that suffer from nausea and lack of appetite, so I'm furious and upset at the decision to change it.

You could try ringing around all the vets local to you, my vets have quite a big stash of prescription foods so you might find some at another vets.
Good luck in finding some.0 -

I got hold of Hills and they will send one tray which is about 20 cans, but then want me to switch him to their new food. I've tried mixing in a miniscule amount but he won't touch it. It's hard to get him to eat anyhow on his really bad days.
Thanks everyone and please pm me or post if you can help. I would pay for a courier (plus the cost obviously). Ideally I'd like to get 5 or 6 trays, then I can very gradually phase him into something else.
If anyone can mention to the vets please that if other liver patients hate this food, please complain to Hills. You never know, if it doesn't sell as well they may revert back to the beef one.
I am London based but love my furry so much I'd courier stuff from Hills USA if it was the same food there! He won't live that much longer and they've just made his life so much more complex. I'd also like their HQ address and a name. Think my cat will be posting a letter to them soon.0 -

I can second the recommendation for vetuk, also had a look at that link and it has a further link 'click here for more details on feline L/D diet' which still lists the ingredients as Beef, hopefully that means it is the old style that they are still selling.

Their preferable way of contact is by email and whenever I have contacted them I've had a response within 24 hours. Good luck...0
