My dad qualified for free car/road tax through disability. The current one expiring Aug 2012.
Come the day where the car is to be sold, what would/should happen regarding this tax, as i imagine the buyer of the vehicle will likely not qualify for disabled tax.0 -
Any idea on the tax disability? I'm assuming someone who doesn't qualify for disability can't use it? So the tax would have to be "scrapped" when sold, right?0

Check with DVLC but I think that if your dad got free tax then now he's gone you'll have to tax it as normal and I think that involves changing the taxation class on the V50
