Hi all
Any one know which month has the best prices for flights? Need to narrow down the search options.
The wet seasons is our school holidays so the prices still high. I can go from the 1st march to end of August, but not during June...work commitments.
Thanks Annie

July is expensive too if it covers the 26 de julio revolution days. I was there over this and also to note it was EXCRUITIATINGLY hot. never been anywhere like it I travelled all over and was boiling everywhere. lack of air con doesnt help, obviously. it was near 110 degrees on 26 july when I was there ,i just drank loads of mojitos!
havana never seems "cheap" but varadero on charters I often see for 199 last minute. Varadero isnt that far from habana a bus ( very nice proper coach, the only place with air con!) is about an hour- hour and a half into centro habana
Are you thinking of getting flights & accomodation seperately then? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Hi Lynzpower
Yes I book the first nights hotel so I have somewhere to crash.
I like to travel around places. Couple of nights in Havana then 5 nights with hire car driving around.
I visit wildlife/natural beauty aeras. Not interested in sitting on a beach.
I have visited all sorts of places off season and had a fab time.
Only prob with short notice is that I have to give 4 weks notice at work.
Its only a small place and we have to arrange cover everytime some goes on holiday.
Will keep searching after I have found a list of all festivals in cuba to avoid!0
