    But as you already know, there is no hard and fast rule, there is guidance from the FOS, but that is all it is "guidance".

    Presumably if the company changed their system once the first compliant went against them then the "silly" situation you describe wouldn't arise.

    If the complaint went against them then they are fools. I am on about a complaint ruling in their favour.

    I agree. However, there are no rules here that say £55 is wrong.
