    But as you already know, there is no hard and fast rule, there is guidance from the FOS, but that is all it is "guidance".

    Presumably if the company changed their system once the first compliant went against them then the "silly" situation you describe wouldn't arise.

    If the complaint went against them then they are fools. I am on about a complaint ruling in their favour.
    It annoys me when companies know the rules, and still try to produce t&c's that openly flaunt them.

    I agree. However, there are no rules here that say £55 is wrong.

    Might still all be true though, just not relevant
