Queenriderbrekke I am going to admit that I too like the sachets that come with the noodles, so you are not alone.0

Thanks for the help.
I buy Bacharlors noodles right now and I find them too expensive. The only "value" super noodles I tried was the Tesco range, are the other supermarket value noodles better?0 -
Noodles should cost around 10p/portion, from chinese/Lidl (large pack).
Sauce wise, scraps of veg, chicken etc can be stir fried with soy sauce or Pataks paste + water.0 -

I just use plain noodles & add Hoisin sauce, light soy sauce, sesame oil & sometimes a bit of chilli sauce
all storcupboard ingredients & if you buy your sauces from Asian or Chinese shops, very cheap

Like others here we buy the super cheap noodle packets and dispose of the sachets. Then simply add a spoonful of dried soup mix (such as the OSEM brand that was available at Approved foods recently). Cook in the usual way.0

I love Koka noodles which you get from Home bargains and sometimes in the special food part of tesco. They are really strong flavours and much better than super noodles. They are only 25p too!0
