Which is the best value store for Noodles? I like super noodles but thought it would be cheaper to make my own.
Also in super noodles how do you get the powder to make them curry etc?
Thanks

I just buy the Value type supernoodles, typically 11p per block and in a choice of chicken, curry and mushroom flavours. Have to admit I usually bin the flavour sachet as it's just full of artificial foulness. I expect you could use a piece of stock cube to flavour noodles instead? I usually use a bit of home made stock or gravy instead, or just some soy sauce.Val.0

i get the dirt cheap noodles around 11p to 13p depending where you shop
cook em with out the awful sachet of 'flavour' and add soy sauce
yum and cheap meal:)63 mortgage payments to go.

Aldi & Lidl might be worth trying. Lidl's Vitasia are very good, they appear to do all sorts as well. Aldi's are OK too.
Not actually used the flavoured type though do like their plain noodles as I prefer to cook my own ingredients.0 -
I recently tried Lidl's noodles which was 18p and they were yummy. I gave a pack to my boss and he liked them as well.
Have you tried a Chinese supermarket. I have one near me and they have loads of packets of noodles, although I haven't tried them myself.0 -
Yeah I've heard that the cheap noodles are fine just bin the sachet. I usually just get a big pack of noodles when on offer. Some soya sauce and its yummy. Chow mein version with spring onion, garlic, soya sauce a stock cube and a splash of water is also very nice!0

I buy the Aldi noodles and just cook them in a chicken stock cube for chicken or a beef one for beef and they are lovely!Jane

Am I the only person to like the artificial foulness? Or just the only one to admit that I like it, lol!"Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138

We all love the Lidl noodles. It's a much bigger pack than the value ones from Sains or Asda. And the flavours are good too. Spicy prawn are nice and spicy. Aldi ones are almost as good.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...
