I agree with penrhyn. If your PC aint going anywhere these homeplugs work really well. unless you live in a particularly old house. the quality of your electrical wiring affects the speeds you get through the plugs. Id use the netgear ones though. They are more expensive but they gave me almost perfect internet to a shed down the end of my garden with electric cables I added myself. Also if your router is netgear keeping on the same company can never hurt.0
