can anyone remember the sainsburys toy sale?

Hi:D last year I remember going around this time of year not sure if it was october or november though at very early am to fight with the masses over the 1/2 price sainsburys toy sale, got loads of lego and board games, as fast as they were putting them on the shelves they were being grabbed and sold:rotfl:

I can't remember when I NEED to have elbows at the ready:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Anyone?

  • Its near the end of October I think, I seem to remember it was around the 30th. I do know that I went near the end of the deal and managed to get absolutely loads of nice gifts, so they do restock their shelves hth.

When I went I don't know whether it was because the SA were slow or what happened but every so often they would bring a crate out stacked with toys and so we would just have to go around the shop for a while waiting:rotfl:

I ended up having lovely chats with all different mums, waiting for the SA to go to the stock room to bring more toys and then when they did they were practically knocked over and had no chance of getting the toys out themselves so just left everyone to it, so animalistic:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
It's normally the Thursday of half term which is the 27th this year. And it's also the day I'm having an elective c-section! Bad timing!!!

I was just tidying up my pressie cupboard and found the receipt from last year's sale - I went on the Saturday which was the 30th October, so as mentioned already I imagine it will start around the 27th October.
Kandboys - Good luck with the c-section!
