What is "Windows NT?" - Please Help!

Hi.

If a piece of software if comptible with Windows NT, does this mean that it will run on Vista?

For instance,

"Web Page Creator 40002"

Operating Systems 98/NT/2k/Me/XP/95/200

.... is this compatible with Windows Vista atall?

Replies appreciated!

Not necessarily, NT is a pretty old OS now, Win 2000, Win 2003 and XP replaced NT and are all based on it.

The only way to know for sure would be to email the company that produces it and ask them.

Even if it won't run under Vista, there's a compatibility mode built in so it may run under that.
It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die

  • Thanks BillScarab.

    Much appreciated!
