LTSB - Loan PPI Reclaim - Complaint Upheld but now slow to refund

I last posted on this board back in August as LTSB had upheld my complaint on three loans I had/have with them. Their letter stated I would be receiving a total of just under £10500 so I was quite pleased with the outcome at that stage despite not being entirely sure why some of their figures seemed a little out.

So since the letter in August I have spoken to LTSB insurance team and loans team on a number of occasions to be assured by the insurance team everything is in hand and I would received all monies refunded to me soon but on the other hand loans team telling me insurance team haven't asked them to restructure the loan yet.

I have however received the entire premiums and loans amount on Loan 1, plus the interest on the premiums in the form of a cheque for Loans 2 and 3.

Despite receiving some money, they still haven't restructured the loan and are still charging me the full repayment value which they have "taken" from my account this weekend (it will apparently show on my internet banking screen tomorrow).

So, I've complained to customer.care.insurance@lloydstsb.co.uk copying in the CEO and PPI Director of LloydsBankingGroup.

But I'm wondering what others are experiencing with LTSB?

    Hello

Lloyds are on the recieving end of multiple complaint posts on this forum over the speed with which they are refunding customers.

In my case my complaint was sent in May along with evidence of severe financial hardship I waited 16 weeks my claim was upheld I then sent my acceptance back then got my figures I am waiting for around 7K.

I have rung and emailed no one can give a date I sent a stroppagram email to the ceo and to the customer care email address last week still waiting a response.

All I can suggest is email them at least that way you have traceability it sppears phone calls are not being recorded on customers case notes as well.

I think we should all go to our local branches and have sit ins until our claims are resolved.....

Having emailed LTSB customer care yesterday, copying in their CEO and the PPI director, I've had a response stating that someone would be assigned to take 'ownership to conclusion'.

However, this email hasn't just come from the customer care team but the PPI director himself (if I believe he answers things personally at least).

  • I'm starting to think that they're either all called Andrew in their call centre, or that there's only Andrew that's taking calls. If what he says is true then I'll be getting my payment on Thursday... we'll see.

i emailed both too and got 2 replies from customer relations manager, she is trying to get out of paying out 8% interest as ive been told by 2 memebrs of staff that I will get the 8% interest as theye not paid out within 4 week deadline.

i told her I will seek legal advice from my solicitor who will also obtain phonecall evidence (who say everycall is recorded) and will take the matter further if not payment is paid.

She also said i was now classed as priority - my reply I was told that over 3 weeks ago yet nothing has happened, so stop feeding me with lies n excuses!
  • I'm still waiting for my payment from August. I telephoned them a week after the letter was sent and was told 21 days. I telephoned again mid september and was told they couldn't promise any time scale. I then phoned last week and was told that I should have had the payment by now and they didn't know why there was a delay. they are chasing it up and I am now told 7-10 days. It has now been 7 days and i plan to call them AGAIN on Thursday if I still have no joy. It is getting more than annoying as I had waited for three years to get this far!!!

Hi, I think Ive had my loan restructured (well its gone down by over 4k overnight but not been told anything) so will I still get my PPI refunded?? I dont know if it will go back up or if I'll still be paying same ammount each month. I've not been told anything as of yet
