11 month old cavalier with diarrhea?

Third day now puppy has diarrhoea and I cannot pin point why. No change to food or anything. At puppy training the trainer (RSPCA course) said that she could be having a phantom pregnancy (she's been spayed).
She seems fine in herself, playful as ever. I have tried cutting her food right down while she has the diarrhoea but her pooh is still extremely loose and slightly green in colour.

Any advice on how to help her? Thanks

Speak to your vet. Diarrhoea can be an indication of a lot of different causes and if continual can be dangerous especially in a Puppy.

  • Another vote for the vet ...... 3 days is a long time for a tiny one who won't have a lot of reserves.

Please go to the vet, my friend waited with her dog and it nearly died in the end. But antibiotics fixed her. What are you feeding? Cavaliers do like to eat everything perhaps she ate something dogdy?

I think she must have either eaten something dodgy or just been unwell, she is much better now and no sign of loose stools since last night/early hours. If it re-occurs I will take her straight to vet.
